Chubbocalypse Final Art
Well, since my quarter is over, i can show the work I've been doing in my conceptual storytelling class. I call it... CHUBBOCALYPSE.
Fawn Rodriguez Turnaround
Kylie Stone Turnaround
Trashbag Turnaround
Early design sketches of Stone. As you can see, her look was established from the start. I kinda gave her catlike eyes to emphasize her fierce nature (also that she has a huge soft spot for cats). She loves weapons; just anything that blows up. She just loves it. She likes to be called Stone better because she likes to be compared to a rock. She believes that wearing clothes too big for her make her feel more mature.
Here are Fawn's early designs. I didn't like these in particular because she just looked whiney in this look. She looked more... I don't know, annoying.
I prefer these. She looks more determined, more focused, and less whiney. She is a huge softie for anything cute, since she's not as rock solid as Stone, but she is a strong-willed person.
Initial idea for poster design. I ditched the background to give it a white background like a lot of animated films do with posters, giving the audience a hint of what's in store and have them guessing.
The evil Chubbaloos, being pink, chubby and just FULL of mischeif!!
Look out.. they may steal your food.
